Steve Nishimoto (pseudonym: Nish) is an NYC-based artist whose intricate letter forms, collage imagery, and logo designs have touched a global audience of skateboarders, tastemakers, and art connoisseurs alike.
Born and raised in Chicago, where the rugged urban landscape nurtured his interest in design, Nish moved to New York in the late ‘90s to pursue a career in art. He worked closely with Associates in Science, the design boutique responsible for identities such as the Undefeated sneaker brand logo and music videos for award-winning artists like Interpol. Moving on to work with the founders of world renowned skateboard company Zoo York, Nish quickly made a name for himself in NYC and beyond. His work has been featured in magazines and art exhibits around the world, and he has been commissioned by a range of top brands including Uniqlo, Viacom, Burton, Nike, Converse, FTC, and 2K by Gingham.
